The Petronas Twin Towers, which is part of the Kuala Lumpur City Centre (KLCC) complex, is the most visible landmark in this fascinating city of Kuala Lumpur - and this part of the world. The two towers were once the world's tallest buildings, until sometime Oct 2003, when a building being built in China overtook their height.

The two towers are truly a geometrical wonder, and you begin to appreciate this when you paint them. I could not paint all the intricate lines, and for this painting I had to simplify the shapes. While there are many photos available for my reference, I found I still had to carefully observe the towers first hand several times in order to define the shapes involved.
