A painting I started in 2014 for the foyer of my then new Putrajaya home, that only in 2025 was fully completed. Hopefully, this marks the end of my 11-year painting hiatus.

This painting depicts how two separate characters, represented by orange and cyan, can come together to form a closeness the way two characters can form a family. Orange—is the spirited, warm-hearted optimist—and cyan—is the calm, introspective dreamer. Together they blend fiery warmth and tranquil coolness into a harmonious gradient. The intertwined auras results in teal, coral and amber: Teal bridges Cyan’s serenity with Orange’s zest, Coral radiates playful warmth tempered by patience, and Amber glows with steadfast resilience.

This painting celebrates the power of family. It is about accepting and cherishing differences, and where a family's love palette grows ever richer through shared trials. A vivid reminder that even in darkness, blended hearts can create unbreakable light.
