Here's How You Can Find Out Your TDEE

T
o effectively lose body fat or grow muscles, you have to know your TDEE (Total Daily Energy Expenditure). With the TDEE you can estimate how much calories you should take. Consistently eating at TDEE should help you maintain your body fat amount, and consistently eating a recommended 500 calories (kcals) less than your TDEE should help you lose body fat fast.

To find out your estimated TDEE, just google for TDEE calculator. The one I use is simply called just that. Enter your details and it will give you your estimated TDEE.

Remember that this amount is just an estimate. You need to experiment to discover a more accurate TDEE number for yourself. For example, if you take in fewer calories that the TDEE estimate, but find yourself not losing body fat for three consecutive days, then your actual TDEE must be lower. Try reducing your calorie intake further until you reach the point your body fat starts reducing.

You could exercise or work out more to increase your TDEE. A higher TDEE allows you to eat more, which is great if you love to eat.
