The World is Only a Test

ufism teaches us that this world is only a test for the next life. It is a test of our free will. How we fare in this test is a sign of where we are destined to be, whether in one of the heavens, hells or places beyond the heavens and hells.

There are places beyond the heavens. Because while heavens are filled with pleasures and no pain, it is still far from God. And highly spiritual people, they desire to go beyond the heavens to be close to God.

There is no way to be close to God except by God Himself bringing us to Him. So what spiritual people do in this world is to always remember God, do what God likes and ask for forgiveness for their shortcomings. And they ask for God to let them be together with Him. This is how they take the test.
