There is an uninhabited island in Langkawi, and on the island is a lake called the Lake of the Pregnant Maiden (Tasik Dayang Bunting). Someone I knew went there with his wife and they swam in it. They had been trying for a baby for quite some time. True to the folklore, not too long after their visit to the lake, the wife got pregnant.

This piece is my rendition of the mystical, magical lake.
