This piece is my tribute to the progress of a city I love by depicting its four most recognisable and iconic towers: the Kuala Lumpur Tower, Merdeka 118, Petronas Twin Towers and Exchange 106.

The monumental structures emerge through interlocked planes of ultramarine blue, pthalo turquoise and vermilion, glazed in layers to a full range of light values. Above, sharply shaped cloud-forms symbolise the digital age. Below, distant mountains offer a grounding sense of endurance and transparent shapes suggest the unseen currents of people and time. Together they hint at a collective journey shaped by resilience, collaboration and faith.
